SLT – Sandwell Leisure Trust

As a registered charity charged with running Sandwell Council’s leisure facilities across the Black Country – one of the worse IMD (indices of multiple deprivation) areas in the UK – SLT needed help and guidance in demonstrating their worth and achievements.

So, a hard-hitting media and affiliate programme was launched that showed them (and their staff) punching above their weight both regionally and nationally, as pioneers in the provision for disability sport and winners of numerous operational and procedural awards.

Crucially, the exposure also helped raise their profile and standing with key stakeholders as well as national leisure bodies and providers, which contributed to extra funding being awarded.
