Searcy’s – Dai Greene
Searcy’s is a leading collection of restaurants, bars and venues, who wanted to align their brand in the run up to the London 2012 Olympics. We placed Dai Greene (a relatively unknown athlete outside the world of athletics at the time) who two weeks after becoming the face for Searcy’s went on to win the Daegu 400 metre Hurdles World Championships.
Searcy’s were thrilled with their new ambassador and the association paid dividends in the run up to London 2012, with Dai making personal appearances and attending launches, etc – a great British iconic establishment with a great British athlete in the run up to GB hosting the Olympics.
Dai said: “As I was breaking through it was great to become an ambassador for such an iconic British brand. Beyond 400 ensured it was beneficial for all parties.”
